We suggest to begin at these levels, monitor your pet’s weight and make the necessary adjustments in their daily ration. Each dog’s nutritional needs will vary dramatically based upon breed, age, activity level, environment and medical condition.

Keep in mind that if your dog has a particularly active day, he will have burned more calories and may require more food for that day’s ration. For best digestion, we recommend two feedings daily approximately 11 hours apart. Remember that soft stool can be a sign of overconsumption.

There are many dogs that can be fed free choice. Younger and/or smaller breed dogs are more likely to adapt to free-choice feeding than older dogs. A free-choice fed dog will generally be more satisfied and often consume less food than other feeding methods. We highly recommend this method if your dog maintains a healthy weight.

Weight of Dog Amount per Day
5 lbs (2.3kg) 1/4 Cup (25g) – 1/3 Cup (33g)
10 lbs (4.5kg) 1/2 Cup (50g) – 3/4 Cup (75g)
20 lbs (9kg) 3/4 Cup (75g) – 1 Cup (100g)
30 lbs (13.6kg) 1 Cup (100g) – 1 1/4 Cup (125g)
40 lbs (18kg) 1 1/4 Cup (125g) – 1 3/4 Cup (175g)

Pregnancy: Increase food amount by 10% in week 7 and increase 20% during weeks 8 and 9.

Lactation: Nursing females require twice the amount of food and should be fed 3 to 4 times per day.

Puppies: Puppies up to 6 months old require twice the amount of food as an adult dog and should be fed 3 to 4 times a day. Puppies from six months to a year, twice daily.

Please consult your veterinarian about the needs of your specific dog breed.

This food saved my dogs life. I told my vet about it after he noticed the drastic improvement in just 3 months. He now recommends it to many of his patients owners! I over heard him telling a lady that was concerned about the price to just feed the amount she can afford & continue with the old food as little as possible. They agreed on one meal of this a day & one meal of her other food. He said proper nutrition is the key to healthy pets so feed what you can afford to. My pet was adopted knowing she had diabetes & now 1 year later she was able to come off insulin. With vet’s approval obviously! Her diet is literally all I changed along with adding bone broth & salmon oil rotated with Olive or Coconut. No increase in exercise just diet & what fantastic results. I unfortunately can’t walk her due to my injury but we play often in the house. My vet already switched his cats over with great results & my New Years Resolution was to do the same with our cats. I’ve been feeding one meal of this brand & the other two meals wet & it’s only been 2 months & their coats are looking shiny & my 17 year old cat has increased her activity & is sleeping a bit less. I’m happy knowing I cut out a massive amount of carbs in my cats diet. They’ve also lost a little weight in just 2 months & both are unfortunately overweight so that’s fantastic! Good ingredients @ some of the lowest carbohydrate dry food on the market. Relatively affordable since I don’t have to feed near as much as it’s calorie dense & my wife things they are pooping less. She mentioned how well the new cat litter was working and then she hadn’t smelled it and two or three months. I laughed because I have not changed litter. It’s the same stuff so obviously their poop must not smell as strong as before. I can’t smell so I hadn’t noticed but I did notice I was scooping the box less & less & saving on litter cost. Thank you so very much for these products. I know these foods have made huge improvements with my pets & my reduced vet bills prove it! FIVE STARS PLUS!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ +++
