Your pet will benefit from multiple meat sources to vary the different amino and fatty acids. We suggest using at least 1/3 of the meat source from Pork as it is high in selenium. For those not grinding bone, try our CarnivoreRAW with Calcium.

 

Mixing Instructions: USE MEAT WITH NO BONE. Measure out the correct amounts of each ingredient as shown in below recipe chart. We highly recommend using a gram scale for accuracy. DO NOT shake CarnivoreRAW container. Roll one turn on hard surface to loosen contents before measuring out. Combine and mix well. More than one type of meat is always beneficial. You can use CarnivoreRaw with cooked meat. However, you will want to add the supplement AFTER it is cooked as heat will kill some of the additives like the probiotics and prebiotics in the premix.

 

Feeding Suggestions: Start with suggested amounts and adjust feedings as needed to maintain a healthy body weight for your pet.

 

CAT: Give 4-6 oz per day (½-¾ cup), divided between a minimum of 2 feedings and adjust up or down depending on your cat’s size, activity and needs.

 

DOG: Give ¼ to ½ cup per 10 pounds of body weight per day.

    First, we have been feeding Young again Zero Carb cat food for *years*. It allowed one of my cats to go into diabetic remission (we had been feeding high carb, cheap crap food and as I now know cats are obligate carnivores and the other food stressed his pancreas so much it caused him to be diabetic. After educating myself I found YA and have never fed anything else.) Recently, one of our elderly cats was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and started losing weight. So I did some research and raw food was recommended. I ordered Young Again Carnivore Raw, but he wasn't amenable to eating raw meat. So I got some organic bones elliott's chicken thighs, oven roasted them, let them cool a bit, used the food processor to pulse the meat(no bone) into not quite a pate consistency. Then I added the Carnivore Raw mix, added in some of the rendered fat and pan drippings, and gave him some. He went bananas for it! He's been getting 2.5 ounces 2X a day and in a little over 2 months time has gained 8 ounces of weight! He's more active, shiny coat, and happy. I recommend giving this a try. Sorry for being long winded

    My cats Aodhan 7months and Finley 1yr, love this.  Finley would eat just raw meat and would get excited when I opened a package, so I decided to try this. I mixed this with ground chicken as they were out of ground pork. (If they continue to love it through the remainder of this trial I will buy a meat grind and grind my own.) So day one was a success. I have been feeding Young Again dry for a while ( I had a special needs cat that did pass at 18yrs old!) so when I got these 2 guys, I wanted them to have the best! Thanks Young Again!
